Synopsis "Cumbres Borrascosas"

Emily Bronté, nació en Thornton (Inglaterra) el 30 de julio 1818 y murió en Haworth a mediados de octubre en 1848. Perteneció a una familia de seis hermanas, tres de ellas dedicadas a las artes literarias. Luego de la muerte de sus padre, las seis jovencitas fueron enviadas a un internado donde prosiguieron sus estudios. Las pésimas condiciones sanitarias del lugar, fue la causa que contribuyó al contagio de la tuberculosis; enfermedad que finalmente la llevo a la tumba a la temprana edad de treinta años.
