Die Sargfrau. Ein Vorruf. Teil 2. Ein halbes Jahr nach der Publikation ihres Erstlings "Der Sargmann. Ein Nachschrei." liegt bereits die Fortsetzung vor, wobei sich Melody Maurers Fokus nun - weg von Hubert Heidn, dem "Sargmann" (siehe Politkrimi von Martin Christen, "Sein Sarg", BoD 2021) - hin zu Amélie Froidevaux, der ehemaligen Bäckereiverkäuferin und Mitbegründerin des "Sargmuseums", wendet, immer unter Einbezug des aktuellen politischen Weltgeschehens. Hauptschauplätze sind auch in diesem zweiten Band die Schweiz (Zürich, Turgi, Aargau) und Südfrankreich (Leucate, Village Naturiste Oasis.) Und auch diesmal kommt es zu einer politisch motivierten Terrorattacke, was den französischen Staatspräsidenten Emmanuel Macron auf den Plan ruft. Melody Maurer ist es erneut gelungen, die unglaublichen Vorfälle rund um Amélies Sarg authentisch und detailgetreu zu beschreiben. Wir können diese Lektüre nur empfehlen!
