Synopsis "Divine Wisdom: For Minds of a Modern Society (Volume) (in English)"
He has learnt that life is what he makes it. Yet, swift runners do not always win a race, and the brilliant do not always become wealthy, either. A young executive officer, full of potential and promise, is struck with a debilitating disease. A little girl, after receiving hugs and kisses from her dad, leaves home for school. That same day, she doesn’t return home because she is involved in a fatal road accident. Many people suffer great injustice, and trials, diseases, tragedies, and death do not favour anyone. When most of his life is made up of emptiness and disappointment, he concludes that life isn’t what he thought it was. He wonders why he existed in the first place. The earth goes on from generation to generation while he does not. Something is surely wrong.Notwithstanding the troubles that modern societies face, there is hope: death is not the end. The pages of Divine Wisdom point him to wisdom, understanding, and the truth. In them are gems of practical wisdom and guidance for daily living, which are indispensable in shaping his attitude towards spiritual matters, towards his fellow men and women. When he sets his mind in the right direction, life will be satisfying, fruitful, and joyful. His greatest reward is eternal life.
