El autor dice las cosas sin tapujos y con evidencia científica pura y dura sobre lo que si o si pasará y aunque pueda parecer fatalista, Wallace hace incapie en algo que añade más complejidad y quizá un toque de esperanza en todo eso: que el calentamiento global es en esencia un problema humano, un problema político.
