Cuánto tiempo el silencio puede arropar una verdad?En septiembre de 2013 llega a Villamargaritas, un pequeño y en apariencia aburrido pueblo, Celeste Arriaga, la nueva maestra. Muy pronto, descubrirá el diario de Violeta Belmar, otra maestra que llegó a ese mismo pueblo a través de las Misiones Pedagógicas, una iniciativa del gobierno de la II República que pretendía acerca la cultura a todas las gentes.Lo que en un principio parecía una simple diversión, poco a poco, desvelará la desaparición de Damián al final de la Guerra Civil.
