People are dying in the town of Exeter, Rhode Island. Teenagers Kurt Carpenter and Clay Banderson are responsible for the chaos. After helping to unearth an unmarked grave in an abandoned cemetery, the teens have unintentionally released a two-hundred-year-old vampire determined to have her revenge on Exeter. Thanks to their actions, she is now free from her eternal sleep and hell-bent on turning the entire town into creatures of the night, forcing Kurt, his girlfriend, Penny, and Clay to hunt their friends and neighbors during the day.
