曾任飛行員的作者，如今在海產業打拼出另一片天空。 一道道精美可口的餐飲或魚鮮，背後隱藏著多少海洋與大地的秘密？ 作者以一雙訓練有素的飛行員的鷹眼，為讀者描述一則則感人、動人、迷人的故事。 北美洛杉磯華文作家協會前會長古冬說：「楊錦文是位有才華的作家，文筆流暢，看似嘻笑怒罵，其實在給我們講文史哲理。給我們留下不少反省和思索的空間。這就叫功力。」 楊錦文，籍貫廣東，生於四川成都，成長於台灣。筆名《賣魚郎》，為洛杉磯自由投稿人。父楊仲安將軍原為美國華僑，二戰時間嚮應祖國華僑救國號召，返國從軍，中央航校三期畢業，成為抗日戰爭中的空中英雄。楊錦文先生畢業於中華民國空軍官校四十七期，南加大飛安官班結業。曾任戰鬥機飛行官、作戰官、分隊長、雷虎特技小組組員、中校飛安官。曾飛機種為 T-28、T-33、T-38、F-86、F-5A/B/E。退伍後赴美定居，曾經營過餐廳、加油站、汽車修理廠、汽車零件進口商。現經營特殊食品進口公司，海產及調理食品為主要項目，以全美食品供應商為銷售對象。業餘嗜好：烹飪、寫作、書法、唱歌、高爾夫球、游泳。
