Synopsis "How to read a book (in English)"
All praise is for Allaah, we praise Him, seek His forgiveness, andseek His refuge from the evils of ourselves and the evils of ouractions. Whoever Allaah guides, then none can misguide them, andwhoever He misguides, then none can guide them. I bear witnessthat there is no deity worthy of worship besides Allaah the Exalted, Alone, without any partners, and that Muhammad is His slaveand Messenger.As to what follows: All praise belongs to Allaah the Exalted who created, first of all, the pen, and Said: 'Write, ' causing it to write everything that willoccur until the Day of Resurrection. Likewise, thanks belong toHim the Exalted who has favored His slaves with the blessing ofthe pen and writing, and mentioned it when He Said (what means): {Nun. By the pen and what they inscribe} [Qur'aan 68:1] So, Histaking an oath shows the greatness of the pen and writing, becauseAllaah the Exalted only swears by something great
