Synopsis "Little Feet, Big Heart: One hour that changed my life (in English)"
Nadia Gordynsky is a Founder, President and CEO of Save a Life International. Save a Life Int. helps women in crisis pregnancy, provides assistance to victims of violence and domestic abuse, and humanitarian aid for mothers and their children. Nadia was born in Western Ukraine when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. She grew up in a Christian home under the Soviet regime. The Church was heavily persecuted and any ideas of faith in God were considered old fashioned, dark, uneducated, and dangerous. Despite this, she traveled with her choir group singing and even ministering in prisons. She married in 1991 and while on her honeymoon, the Soviet Union fell, and Ukraine became independent. While ministering with her choir in the mid-1990s an American missionary spoke to her and said, "Someday you will be traveling all over the world with the message of His Hope." This coupled with a vision God gave confirmed to Nadia that she would be singing and sharing her story to help women and young girls realize how precious life is even in the womb. After moving to America in 1998 she established her family and career. In 2005 she delivered the baby boy prematurely, that didn't live more than an hour. This event changed her perspective on abortion, and she still dwelt on the millions of Ukrainian boys and girls who had fallen victim to abortion. She traveled to Ukraine and met others who wanted to promote the sanctity of life. In 2009 she started travelling throughout Ukraine to schools and universities and saw a great need for sanctity of life education and options. From this, Save a Life International was born and has now grown to12 centers in multiple countries.
