Dabei wird untersucht, inwieweit explizite und implizite Motive für die Teilnahme am FSJ mit dem individuellen biografischen Erleben und Geschehen der Freiwilligen verknüpft sind. Zugleich wird analysiert, inwiefern unterschiedliche lebensgeschichtliche als auch lebensverlaufsbezogene Aspekte und Ereignisse sowie Sozialisationsinstanzen für die Motivbildung und Entscheidung für ein FSJ bedeutend erscheinen.
