It begins like every other Christmas story that has never happened, with a storm and a dead body. On the first day of December the quiet fishing village of Mevagissey, Cornwall is plagued by a supernatural storm. In the aftermath, a series of bizarre and gruesome Christmas related murders begin to occur. During this spate of Yuletide horror the aquarium manager Leif Fabian is struggling to understand why his beard is growing at such a fast and uncanny rate and why his friends are unnecessarily dying around him. Also, his dreams are being haunted by the ominous ghost of a horse of Christmas past. Could it all somehow be connected? It's not long until Leif discovers a terrifying truth about the forest of follicles on his face and events start to take a very weird and treacherous turn. Can he stop his beard from killing again or will he be boiled alive in a cauldron of mulled wine on Christmas Day? This Christmas horror has a hairy disposition!
