In My Psalm 90, author Matthew Westerfield shares his story of growing up with spinal cerebellar ataxia type 7, a degenerative condition which affects speech, eyesight, balance, and coordination. Matthews's faith brought him through hard times, such as an ATV accident which resulted in him being hospitalized. This powerful testimony shows the grace and protection of God, as the damage to his liver could have been much worse and life-threatening if a nearby vein had been cut. Originally misdiagnosed with achromatopsia, an eye disorder, Matthew's condition affects many areas of his life, both physically and socially.
