Synopsis "Poemas de la Locura"

Treinta y seis años tenía Hölderlin cuando declarado loco, fue acogido en su casa de Tubinga, junto al Neckar, por el carpintero Zimmer. Treinta y siete más vivió en aquella casa, olvidado del mundo, de sus amigos, de sus contemporáneos, en constante diálogo consigo mismo y con la Naturaleza. De las muchas páginas que allí escribió, prácticamente todas se han perdido. Estos 49 poemas que aquí se recogen y traducen al castellano son una ínfima muestra de su actividad intelectual en aquellos años, pero son también lo único que de ellos nos queda. Hemos recogido igualmente, junto a los poemas, algunos testimonios de sus contemporáneos que arrojan luz sobre los "años oscuros" del poeta.
