Synopsis "Poems with No Glass Shield in Twenty-fifteen: 25 Short Poems: Volume 1 (in English)"

Author Jemel Williams gathered the ideas for his first book, Writeen Fullfillment, while homeless on the streets in New York City in 2012. Never into drugs or alcohol - a simple family disagreement left him homeless. Instead of joining groups or focusing on deviant behavior, Williams channeled his thoughts and dreams on becoming an author. After his registry by the Library of Congress for Writeen Fullfillment in 2014, he started having ideas for his second book of poems, Poems with No Glass Shield in Twenty-fifteen: 25 Short Poems: Volume 1. He began the first draft of the book in November 2014 and completed it in July 2015. With Poems with No Glass Shield, Williams demonstrated a complex style of poetry that allows readers to derive their own conclusions from a variety of translations for one poem. Although the length of one poem is moderate in size, it shares common interest in today's times and current events. About the Author Jemel Williams graduated from the High School of Art and Design, New York, New York, in 1993. He later went on to Lehman College in the Bronx, but encountered behavior problems. Later in life, he was diagnosed with mild bi-polar disorder in 2017. He motivated himself with the help of therapeutic care from others and later graduated with his Associates of Liberal Arts in January 2000. He continued his education by attending Monroe College in Bronx, New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Information Sciences in December 2003. He additionally has attended Manhattanville College in 2010 and Mildred Elley College in 2017.
