Kalana Watson is graduating high school with aspirations of college. But even with her working in the mall, her single mother's help, plus financial aid, Lana still was short for tuition.Luckily, Lana bumps into her cousin Yusef, who she hasn't seen since she was a kid. Yusef says it's no problem to help Lana with her money problems, BUT asks that she come work for him. Lana agrees without fully knowing the drawbacks of the job, all she was thinking of at the time was MONEY. It didn't take long for Lana to experience and see some of the ills of the PROFESSION. But by now she's in too deep. Lana is great at the craft, so good that when Yusef finds himself in a compromising position he picks Lana to take his place. Along with this promotion, Lana learns that Yusef is one-fourth of a conglomerate that controls numerous illegal ventures in DE, MD, and VA. Will Kalana make it out unscathed or will she join the growing statistics in the First State's underworld?
