Synopsis "Shattered Antlers (Macduff Brooks fly Fishing Mysteries)"
Lucinda and Macduff are resting in their new cottage on the harbour at Hope Town, Elbow cay, Bahamas. They celebrate their arrival from Montana by going to Nipper's on Great Guana Key, and hearing the Barefoot Man sing. A week or two later the two receive news on CNN that the four antler arches at the corners of the Jackson Hole Town Square have been totally destroyed by a bomb. The explosion killed a local guide and injured several more. Helga Markel, the daughter of a woman of the same name from an earlier adventure calls the sheriff's office and admits to the bombing. Macduff's nemesis, Juan Pablo Herzog, now having an artificial eye from being shot by his bodyguard while at the U.S. Embassy, remains the President of Guatemala. Herzog is married to Nancy Jones, a former law professor and colleague of Macduff at the law college of the University of Florida.
