He wrote this book with the hope traditional Japanese sword fighting would be made part of the school physical fitness curriculum in elementary and junior high school. A Samurai's First Lessons in Sword Fighting was designed as a graded program to teach school children aged 6 14, traditional Japanese sword fighting. First time in English.
