Black Hammer, la serie que guioniza con dibujos de Dean Ormston, ha ganado el premio Eisner 2017 a la mejor serie nueva y el Premio del Gremio de Libreros de Madrid al mejor cómic de 2017. Ha adquirido una gran popularidad como guionista para DC y en 2015 ha recibido el encargo del relanzamiento de las tres series más populares de Marvel: Ojo de Halcón, X-Men y Lobezno. Astiberri publica las principales series que Jeff Lemire realiza para editoriales independientes (Black Hammer, Plutona, Descender), así como su última novela gráfica como autor completo, Un tipo duro.
