Synopsis "Vida Ante Si,La (t) (Narrativa)"

Momo, an orphaned Muslim boy, narrates his heartwarming tale of life with madam Rosa, an elderly Jewish Auschwitz survivor who cares after the children of prostitutes in her clandestine home in the Parisian slum of Belleville. Momo doesn't have anyone else in his life and, when he learns that madam Rosa is ill, he tries to battle the decrepitude that begins to consume the old prostitute. Through Momo's eyes, prematurely facing life's harshness, readers are submerged in the reflections of a child who talks about his world, racism, loneliness, and fear with a rare combination of humor, naivety, and sweetness.
