Synopsis "Wagering Home (in English)"
Ever wonder what it would be like if you had the chance to start over? To restart your life from the moment you opened your eyes? That's exactly what I got. After a horrible car accident, I woke up in the hospital with no memory of my past, surrounded by strangers - or rather, my parents. Moments in time, memories made, all gone...as if they never existed. Time passed, and my body healed while my mind remained locked, leaving me with a blank slate. Life around me returned to normal, and I was simply expected to climb aboard. Except, I was barely hanging on. Resigned to the fact that my memories might never return, I broke up with my boyfriend, packed up all my things, and headed to Colorado, where I'd planned to attend college in the fall. There, I could start over, be myself, away from watchful eyes and sympathetic looks. However, I never expected to meet Jack. Falling for him wasn't part of the plan. Also not part of the plan: having to choose where I belonged once my memories came flooding back. They say home is where the heart is...but which part of my heart is right?
