50 años no es nada, dicen... pero acaban llegando. Y aquí están ya los primeros de este Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, que comenzó su andadura en 1953 gracias al empuje de diez comerciantes donostiarras que querían prolongar la estación veraniega. Desde entonces ha llovido, y mucho. Con dificultades y con aciertos, el Festival ha ido transformandose de una modesta ambición local hasta adquirir autentica presencia internacional. De esa trayectoria han dado cuenta los fotógrafos del Festival. A ellos se debe la posibilidad que ahora tenemos de refrescar la memoria con magníficas imágenes.
