Synopsis "6 Months (in English)"
Set in Chicago, Detective Richard Warren received sobering and disturbing news one January day in 2011; that he was diagnosed with cancer and has only six months to live. Immediately afterward he went to a crime scene at the apartment of Tina Jones, a woman recently divorced who had been shot twice in the back, found face down, naked. Later, another divorced woman in nearby suburb is found naked as well. After being contacted by an associate in that police force, Warren goes and examines the crime scene. Even though she was killed in a different way, the detective discovers the connection. With this he takes on the task of tracking down a serial killer during his final days on Earth. Meanwhile, a simple family man named Larry Johnson who works at a rental car store discovers the serial killer coming in to rent cars every month. In a chilling moment of heroism, Larry Johnson realizes there is more than meets the eye with this man and makes the decision to do a little digging to see what this man is up to. This takes place juxtaposed with the killer himself tracking his next victims and trying to come to terms with his sense of right and wrong in the face of God. It's a race against time, mystery of circumstance, and the story of a man struggling to balance loss, love, impending death, and a manhunt for the most prolific serial killer of women of all time.
