Synopsis "60 Years of the Hawker Hunter, 1951 to 2011. Volume 1 - UK (in English)"

In two volumes these books are a fitting tribute to one of the world's greatest aircraft, illustrated with over 1,700 black & White images. They cover the chronological history of the Hunter in service in the UK and overseas from design and development to the present day. The Hawker Hunter is a classic postwar aircraft. The Hunter was one of Britain's export success stories and was purchased by 19 countries worldwide. It still remains in service with the Lebanese AF and are used by civilian companies contracted to the Military, such as ATAC in the USA and HHA in the UK. The books give the known dispositions of every airframe constructed; all 1,972 of them. Please note that these printed books are in Black and White, not color.
