A Daily Spiritual Rx should trigger a connection to God for the reader from her own experience to sustain her for the day during Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. Joanna addresses in particular the most common subjects and questions brought up by people on spiritual journeys or in spiritual direction as she shares books, readings, and experiences that have most connected her to God on her journey from both contemporary and classical writers. Its uniqueness is a daily appetizer sized taste of the spiritual life to be digested during the whole day. The reader may be stimulated to read further about the author or book or insight chosen for that day or just digest this bite.
