His business air travel exceeded over one million miles; along the way he established friendships with the rich and famous, while nurturing several serious romantic relationships in his personal life. His recall of the LGBT revolution, parallels the passion, the political turmoil, personal trauma that impacted millions of the LGBT community. Some of these adventures were not without danger for an out gay man on the prowl. A proud veteran of WW2 and Korea, his passionate columns minced no words as he battled for the civil rights of those LGBT brothers/sisters enduring the slings and arrows of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
