Synopsis "A non-Einsteinian Approach to the Theory of General Relativity (in English)"
Einstein's theory of general relativity, the most widely accepted theory of gravity, generalises special relativity and Newton's law of gravitation, providing a description of gravity as a geometric property of space and time. It is considered as the basis of the current cosmological models of an expanding universe. So far, the electromagnetic force is the only fundamental force. The invisibly working and long-range gravitational force arises as the mechanical picture of this one. These are, in particular, the results of the discovery of the long-searched for magnetic monopole. The new electromagnetic theory, which has undergone remarkable metamorphoses, provides new insights into various fields of science, including special relativity, general relativity, quantum mechanics, and elementary particle physics. Moreover, it allows one, for example, to settle the debate on the origin and fate of the universe. This book provides more insights into the new theory of general relativity and should be especially useful to professionals and students in mathematics, general relativity, cosmology, astrophysics, and nonlinear dynamics, or anyone else who is interested in these fields of science.
