Food grain storage practices is very dynamic because of varied area of operation and clientle. The practices of food grain storage needs to be understand very objectively by the scholars and fractions so that their approach to the whole practices food grain storage process could be analytical and one that could draw synergies of technologies, concepts and philosophies which are getting added to already existing. Knowledge base we have witnessed extension changing its approach in terms of content, context and relevance and hence, new methods, innovations and systems have emerged and accepted in the society. the role of food grain storage practices is being redefined and practices to a certain extent, is visualized as a complementary and supplementary for better clientele service. Similarly, many new options like role of farm women, self help groups in agricultural extension, are getting broadened. The care areas like concepts, objectives, tools. Practices, methods, social participation of women, communication media possession, farm materials, household materials, economic motivation, risk orientation and use of insects and pest for protecting of crops and changing roles
