The coloring book you are about to enjoy is actually based on the children's book "The Alphamals" a poem. All 26 animals are the original pencil drawings created by Sarah V. Burks before she colored them for the book. As a way to share in her beautiful illustrations we created this coloring book so you too can color them to life. Chose watercolor paints, colored pencils, gel pens, markers or even crayons to color the animals. In the actual children's book Sarah used Copic markers. Regardless of what you choose to use, the drawings will come alive right before your eyes. Your own unique style will show once you've begun coloring. Natural, colorful, flamboyant all of which are stunning and fun. On the back cover you can see three uniquely different styles of coloring all of which are beautiful. The very colorful angelfish on the top was colored by colorist Jane Adam . The magical looking zebra also on the top was colored by colorist Deb Ford. And the gorgeous angelfish and natural looking zebra on the bottom are Sarah Burks' original colored illustrations from the children's book. No matter what your style is or what you use, there is no one or right way to color. Just your way.! So sit back, relax and become your own U-nique colorist! Enjoy.
