Synopsis "Amelia Maylock: The 12th Year Awakening (in English)"
Book one in the Amelia Maylock Chronicles. -- Little did Amelia know, as she dressed for school on a normal Friday morning at the beginning of March, her life would soon change, forever. -- Suddenly, it spoke again. "Maylock ... come here." They know my name?! The fear finally grew to a level that Amelia couldn't take. She didn't care if it was only a little brat half her age behind a fence. As fast as her small legs would let her, she ran along the alleyway. A strange feeling, a need to stop and look behind her, as if she had to, entered Amelia's mind, but her nerves were too controlling and wouldn't let her slow down. Once she was clear of the alleyway, back on the house lined streets, Amelia's nerves finally allowed her to stop running. In the park, a few feet from where Amelia had stood, scared, up against the fence a couple of minutes before, the ground rippled, as if made of water. It happened once, then disappeared completely. -- Amelia soon learns many magical truths, visits enchanted worlds, and comes face-to-face with powerful enemies. She must find courage and realise her crucial importance for the dark times ahead.
