Menschenmilch ist die erste Nahrung, die das Neugeborene erhält und liefert alle für das Wachstum notwendigen Nährstoffe. Um Kinder mit Laktationsproblemen zu ernähren, wurden Human Milk Banks (BLH) eingeführt, die diese Lebensmittel durch Pasteurisierung und Einfrieren konservieren. Da menschliche Milch sehr verderblich ist, wurden in dieser Arbeit alternative Konservierungsverfahren wie Sprühtrocknung, hoher hydrostatischer Druck und UV-Strahlung untersucht, um Nährstoffverluste in menschlicher Milch zu konservieren und zu vermeiden.
