Synopsis "Ardent Warrior (in English)"
Part VI - Finally, Kat Severn's dream of commanding her own warship has become a reality - well, partially at least. The Fires of Beltane is the best ship of the ABCANZ Federation, the 22nd Century alliance of America, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, operating in the blue waters of the Anderman Straits and the islands of that region. Actually, she's their only ship operating in that region, and the contracted civilian crew answer to their own Captain, not to Kat! Thankfully, she knows that he'll do what she tells him if they run into trouble. Sure enough, whilst hunting for pirate activity, they stumble across a plot to kill a member of the influential von Welf family, not to mention thousands of innocent people. Whilst there is no love lost between the Severns and the von Welfs, Kat cannot just ignore it, as she is being set-up as being the killer. Now Kat must lead her crew into the dark realm of the Von Welfs, to save a life, and prevent a family feud from escalating into another war.
