This is a bilingual French English story book for ages 3-11 covering basic vocabulary about insects. Laid out in a 'Flip It' format the book is the same story in English and French laid out back to back. Read it in one language and then flip the book over to read it in the other. The story follows Arty the artistic cat who discovers ants walking in a line across his floor and going out of the door into the garden. Grabbing his sketch book and a magnifying glass Arty races off after the ants into the garden. He then looks for different insects all around the garden and finds quite a few. After a while he returns to the house to create an insect masterpiece of artwork for his gallery wall. This book teams well with the Arty and the Insects workbook which contains lots of ideas for French learning fun and projects.
