She still finds herself fallen to the prey of introvertedness, and loneliness. With very vivid imagery Anderson sets the story off in Omegas's high-rise penthouse as she celebrates a small intimate birthday party for her childhood friend and closest 'bestie'. Unfortunately, her late-night girls rendezvous turns into a disaster as the next morning leads to a massive hangover and a headache that ruins her presentation. However, despite her massive failure she still manages to land 'The interview of the Year, ' as she gets a chance to interview the high profile black women's activist - Zakius Nafari. A multi-millionaire hosting a free cruise for black women called the 'Black Berry Experience.'But when Omega digs deeper into the interview and eventually goes on the "Black Berry Experience." She starts to realize that the cruise isn't to liberate black women - it's to consummate an ancient prophecy.
