Synopsis "Boynton Dreams (in English)"

Boynton Dreams is the story of John Thibault, a depressed teenager bearing the outcome of his parent's divorce. The affluent life that he once knew no longer exists, and he struggles to deal with his abusive father's destructive ways and his mother's struggle with mental illness. Stuck in a dead-end job as a bookstore clerk, John fills the void in his life by smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol, and stealing thousands of dollars of inventory from his job. After witnessing the events of September 11th, an epiphany evolves in John's mind to take control of his life and attempt to steal the world's most expensive baseball card, Honus Wagner T206, from a local sports museum. With the help of his friends, the Garcia brothers, the three potheads attempt to execute a foolish plan that has little chance of working.
