Das NSDAP-Mitglied Bruno Müller war ein Frankfurter Stadtrat "gegen" Stiftungen. Als Rechtsdezernent im Unrechtsstaat und Leiter der Stiftungsabteilung ist er bei der Vernichtung jüdischer Stiftungen überaus aktiv gewesen. Darüber hinaus betätigte er sich zeitweise in der politischen Führung des Bauamtes, wo er für eine Ausbeutung menschlicher Arbeitskraft verantwortlich wurde. Nach dem "Dritten Reich" gelang es ihm bald, seine gesellschaftliche Position wieder einzunehmen.
