He moves from starving and wounded to leading the pack—a bonded collection of Buck and two additional homeless pups who need his wisdom and leadership. There are humorous times as these three amigos get into lots of trouble always looking for food and a better place. This new journey gives Buck numerous temporary owners, each one with its own unique story and challenges. You might say Buck becomes notorious for the love of adventure and becomes good at it—almost famous; he even takes on a new profession using his discipline and intellect.
