León Felipe Camino (Tábara, Zamora, 1884) es uno de los más importantes poetas contemporáneos de habla hispana. Desde el año 1923 permaneció, salvo su estancia en España, entre 1938 - 1940, viajando por América y fundamentalmente por México, donde murió en septiembre de 1968. Para mí no son superhombres los inhumanos, sino los superhumanos: entre ellos reside la gradación de la grandeza. Y León Felipe fue superhumano, extrahumano,nhecho de la argmasa de la humanidad entera. Estaba hecho de muchas páginas. era un infolio joven y amarillo en que todos los versículos, los aprendizajes, las referencias, la sabiduría y la ternura, estaban perceptiblemente escritos en su gesto.
