Synopsis "Cartas a Olga (Biografías y Memorias)"

Desde 1979 a 1983 Václav Havel poseyó un único pero valioso privilegio como escritor. Éste consistía en el permiso, concedido por las autoridades de la prisión checoslovaca donde cumplía condena por delitos contra la seguridad del estado, a escribir una carta a la semana a alguien de su familia, siendo el elegido su mujer. Olga Havlová. Havel aprovechaba esta circunstancia, humillante y represiva, para hablar sobre sí mismo, sobre su pasado, sobre sus esperanzas, sus temores, sobre el teatro y sobre sus propias aficiones. Eludiando la censura, mediante un estilo abstracto con un subversivo misticismo, trata desde distintas perspectivas un tema presente en toda su obra como dramaturgo, el de la exigencia de la responsabilidad individual.
