This dense dialogue explains the operative symbolic system of civic architecture, meant as a figurative and communitarian language that builds the world we live in. Cities and landscapes are the generative centers of civic/architectural languages and symbolic systems. These design the different worlds of various communities. The totalitarian-first national, then global-logocentric ideology that rules and engineers the contemporary anti-landscape is incompatible with such an idea of architecture. Civic architecture thus becomes a necessary way for critically understanding and actively contrasting the destruction of politics and the planet. Un dialogo intenso sull'architettura civica spiegata come un sistema simbolico operante, un linguaggio figurativo e comunitario che crea il progetto del mondo in cui viviamo. Città e paesaggi sono i centri generativi delle lingue e dei sistemi simbolici civici/architettonici che costruiscono i diversi mondi delle diverse comunità. L'ideologia logocentrica e internazionale che regola e ingegnerizza il non-paesaggio contemporaneo è incompatibile con tale idea di architettura, che si rivela dunque una via necessaria di ripensamento e azione critica per arrestare la distruzione della politica e del pianeta.
