Synopsis "Cuestión de fe"

En pleno mes de agosto, el ispettore Vianello acude al despacho de Brunetti en busca de ayuda: su tía se ha puesto en manos de un adivino y la familia sospecha que, mediante una serie de ardides, éste le está sacando dinero. Mientras el detective escarba en un turbio negocio de manipulación, plagado de falsos videntes, consultores astrales y tarotistas, tiene lugar un asesinato en la ciudad: el muerto es Araldo Fontana, un ujier del Tribunal de Justicia al que se estaba investigando por su participación en una sutil trama de corrupción dentro de la intrincada maquinaria judicial de Venecia. Brunetti se tendrá que valer de su intuición para navegar por un mundo de sugestión y descarado engaño, así como para enfrentarse a un caso de sangre, sobornos y sexo lícito.
