Ray Bradbury nació el 22 de agosto de 1920 en Waukegan, Illinois, Estados Unidos. Bradbury , además de novelas, también ha escrito innumerables guiones de televisión, ensayos y poemas. Su preocupación como escritor no solo se centra en cuestionarse el modo de vida actual, también se adentra en el reino de lo fantástico y maravilloso, con un estilo poético y a veces provocativo.
