The intermediate level bugs are the line drawings inserted into gray-scale photographs and sized in the illustration to a realistic position within the page to show the bug in a natural setting (on plants). Colorists will be able to easily color the grayscale background and then creatively color the bug line drawing within the gray-scale photograph. Advanced colorists who enjoy mandala and take up the challenge to color the line illustration of the bug inset to kaleidoscopic backgrounds to create stunning, gem-like pictures that pop off the page.
