Jaime Garralda nació en 1921. Estuvo en el frente y en la postguerra tuvo de todo. Jesuita desde el 45, leyó el Evangelio y se dedicó a los preferidos del Señor: hambrientos, enfermos de SIDA, drogadictos, “sin techo”, peregrinos “sin papeles” y presos. También intenta aprender y servir a niños con problemas y a viudas.

Ha recibido toda clase de medallas y condecoraciones. Pero su mayor premio es sentirse hijo de Dios. A sus 89 años sigue feliz, sonriente, incansable y seguro. Jesuita hasta los huesos. Rodeado de voluntarios y “marginados” a los que adora y de los que recibe ilusión y cariño para caminar al Padre.
