Rebecca Jowers es traductora juridica y profesora de ingles juridico. Reside en Madrid donde durante veinte años impartio la asignatura de Ingles Juridico en el Master en Asesoria Juridica de Empresas en la Universidad Carlos III. Entre 2002 y 2012 tambien enseño ingles juridico en el Master en el Ejercicio de la Abogacia de esa misma universidad, habiendo anteriormente trabajado durante cinco años como traductora juridica en el despacho de propiedad intelectual e industrial Elzaburu. Es doctora (Ph.D.) en Filologia Hispanica por la Universidad del Estado de Michigan, master (M.A.) por la Universidad de Nueva York y licenciada (B.A.) por la Universidad de Stetson (DeLand, Florida).Rebecca Jowers is a legal translator based in Madrid where for twenty years she was professor of Legal English in the Master?s Program in Corporate Counsel (Master en Asesoria Juridica de Empresas) at the Universidad Carlos III. From 2001-2012 she likewise taught Legal English in the Carlos III Master?s Program in Legal Practice (Master en el Ejercicio de la Abogacia), having previously worked five years as an in-house legal translator in the Elzaburu intellectual property law firm. Majoring in Spanish Language and Literature, she received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University, M.A. from New York University and B.A. from Stetson University (DeLand, Florida).
