Mit dem Inkrafttreten des ZGB der VR China (2021) vollendete China die Kodifizierung des Zivilrechts, die es mit der Ausarbeitung seiner ersten Zivilrechtskodifikation (ZGE) zur spaten Kaiserzeit (1911) eingeleitet hatte.
