A really fast girl and her dad move into the little Louisiana town where Ike lives and helps form a racing team. Also on the team is a former junkyard dealer who now has a motorcycle dealership and his head mechanic, a former marine sniper. Both of these men are tough on Ike but serve as the mentors he needs.There are enemies that try to take down his racing team. Led by a crooked judge and his family this crime ring forms the mystery that Ike and his team must solve before he can achieve his championship.The readers are entertained and inspired to follow their own path to fulfill their purpose.Ike learns there is more to becoming a champion than winning a few races and more to becoming a man than being tough. He also discovers his greatest fear and what happened to his dad and makes peace with both.
