Graduado de Economía en la Universidad de Buenos Aires en 1985 y cinco años más tarde obtuvo un Master of Business Administration (MBA) en la Universidad de Chicago.

Desde 2007 es profesor adjunto de Historia Económica y Finanzas, Director del Centro de Estudios de Historia Económica y miembro del Comité Académico del Máster de Finanzas de Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA). En 2013-2014 fue profesor adjunto en la Stern School of Business de la Universidad de Nueva York. También dictado conferencias y seminarios sobre historia y economía argentina en ESEADE, la Universidad Austral y CUDES.

Es miembro del Consejo Académico de la Fundación Libertad y Progreso. Entre 2016 y 2019 fue Senior Associate del Center for Strategic and International Studies en Washington D.C.

Excelente libro, el plan mas dinamico y "rapido" para ir a la competencia de monedas, "dolarizacion" en Argentina, dado que el argentino siempre eligio el dolar estadounidense; dicho sea de paso, nuevo plan del nuevo presidente electo 2023, para eliminar la inflacion y que sea irreversible dicho problema.-
