En 2016 el papa Francisco beatificó a 38 mártires del Albania y concedió el capelo cardenalicio a uno de los pocos sacerdotes albaneses supervivientes.Este libro trata de todos ellos y de algunos otros que sufrieron por la fe en aquellas tierras. Los primeros cristianos hacían circular por el Imperio romano las Actas y las Pasiones de sus mártires. Era una forma excelente de edificar la Iglesia. Lo mismo quieren hacer estas páginas. El hermoso testimonio de fortaleza y de perdón de los mártires es suelo fecundo de vida y de santidad.
