Synopsis "El Desayuno del Vagabundo"

En el año 2000, a Gwyn le diagnosticaron una hepatitis C que lo condujo a una cirrosis terminal, la cual solo podía resolverse en trasplante o muerte. Pero incluso en el caso de la primera opción, otra persona –«un extraño»– debía morirse. Acaso este concepto, la muerte de un extraño, funcione como punto de vista de la narración. Solo que ese otro es también él mismo. Las consecuencias éticas y poéticas del trasplante quedan analizadas por el implacable poeta que es Gwyn y, al mismo tiempo, por el profesor y crítico que también es.
