Synopsis "El Papa del mar"

El Papa del mar es la historia de amor entre Claudio Borja –un joven poeta valenciano– y Rosaura Salcedo –una rica dama argentina– con el telón de fondo de la historia del legendario Papa Luna (Benedico XIII), narrada por un guía y también por el protagonista de la obra, Claudio. La acción de la novela se desarrolla en los mismos escenarios en que tuvieron lugar los hechos históricos que se relatan en torno al Papa Luna, uno de los protagonistas del cisma de Aviñón, que fue calificado como “la voluntad más tenaz de su época y tal vez de todos los tiempos”.
